Purple sand

I took a drive to Salisbury Beach Reservation right before sunset. This is an area where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Merrimac River. The sand along the Merrimac River had purple hues which I had not seen there before. There were lots of clouds but the sunset right below them in the distance was beautiful.
