A lovely surprise!

I slept well despite waking occasionally with the wind and rain hammering on the van. Mr C not so well so we had a lazy start then heading into Fort William for fuel before taking the road to the isles.

The rain stopped and when we got to our site near Arisaig the sun was out. Mr C had found us a site by the sea so we had a lovely walk while the tide was out.

We can see Eigg and Rhum from the van. Over the water is Skye - the Cuillin Ridge is just visible behind.

The forecast is very windy for tomorrow when we hope to go to Rhum and the boat is small, taking 2 hours. We’ll see!
