Harbingers of autumn

We're only just into meteorological autumn.   Unfortunately, we shall be exchanging it in three weeks for a southern hemisphere springtime.   And will just be arriving back in UK for the onset of winter.   Having had a superb NZ summer in January and February earlier this year,  this trip will not be such great weather at all.    But #3 grandchild is almost here.   So the weather won't be the main attraction.
