Replacement

I had this part replaced in my house today. Any guesses as to what it is? That beautiful piece of kit cost me £200!! (About $250 US)

I also had someone come to do some painting for me, with a lot of prep. I’m still working on getting that chimney breast looking a bit better after I had the stove put in a few months ago. Hopefully before Christmas I’ll have a mantle shelf finally put up. I really wish I would have just had the chimney breast replastered. Would have been cheaper and less fuss in the long run.

I always think I’m going to get lots of jobs done at home when I have people here working on the house. But I never do. Am I the only one?
