Working Boats

I’ve have been dreadful at blipping over what has been an incredibly eventful summer:

Eldest took part in an epic Tall Ship Race, turning 18 while at sea. She then achieved the A levels needed to get into her first choice of course and university and a few weeks later passed her driving test first time with only 2 minors!!

Meanwhile The Boy went on the Cambodia trip he has spent the past 2 years fundraising for. He came home to GCSE results that again were what he needed to get onto the IB course at Truro College. He’s also found himself a cracking little Saturday/holiday job working in a local cafe.

Today I spent the day on the water with my Scout ‘husbands’ and 3 of us earned our Scout sailing permits allowing us each to take 3 dinghies/8 scouts our in the water. At what point we had to keep out of the way of the working boats racing in the inner harbour!!
