Roof Inspection

I used my little drone to carry out an inspection of our various roofs today.  In particular, I wanted to know why our solar panel is not heating the water particularly well despite all the sunshine.

We installed the system in about 2003 and I think it broke even about 10 years later, but the top temperature has never been above about 60ºC.  That is good enough to keep the hot water topped up, but in the current conditions the temperature of the collector has been only about 47ºC.

And it's probably because the insulation is in poor condition; but will I be able to find someone to renew it for me?  It has been difficult to find companies which will carry out repair work on solar systems, but I might have found one in St Albans.  We'll see . . .
