A very very unexpected sunset tonight.  Was so happy to see some colour in the sky.  The geese are starting to arrive.  Saw lots on our walk tonight and some flew over the house this afternoon.

Spent some time in the garden, mainly digging up more brambles... think I've dug up around 35 or so to date...  many many more still to do.  Also started on the weeds in-between the paving slabs.  

Walked Misty in the local moss this morning and look who we bumped into in Extras.  My neighbour's puppy.  Think she's about four months... is getting better with the biting and has just lost her first tooth.  She's very good at recall and has been trained to come to the whistle.  She's a real live wire.  Misty doesn't know what to make of her energy.
