Autumn Heat

It's been a glorious weekend. 

I popped into Guildford for a browse this afternoon. I ended up doing a tights/vests/socks run in M & S, so not a very exciting haul! I did try on a lovely dress in Massimo Dutti but as I am undecided I didn't buy it.

I popped into to ask my brother-in-law about fixing a toilet .....don't ask. Lou was in her nap, but my sister and I woke her a little bit later. I never really see her at home, but she was all dozy in her crib, and she was hard to wake up. Then I said "A for Alex" and she rolled over, teddy in her arms and opened one eye! 

She showed me her tub of letters and she's getting pretty good at recognising them (a, b, d, m, n and s). 

I went to the gym this evening but didn't do too much. No pals there, and I suddenly felt all tired on my way home and whizzed past my turning without realising.... slightly panicked as I couldn't think where I was, but I'd just taken a bit of a detour.
