The apple hunters

So the Gaskell Garden project,part of the Platt Fields community market garden in Fallowfield, south Manchester, came to collect the apples on the tree on my allotment. They were going to a good home, to feed all those coming to the the opening day of the 'Pay what you can' Sunday dinner where all the food is home produced. I have more than enough apples from the trees in my garden, so it was great to redistribute the surplus and avoid the terrible wasteage of fruit rotting on the ground.
