Coming Full Circle With Operation Christmas Child

If you are familiar with Operation Christmas Child and if you have ever wondered if your one shoebox, with some simple items that you selected and maybe even a note saying simply " I love you and Jesus loves you, too!" can make a real difference, then, you need to meet Yves.  Originally from Rwanda and the son of a pastor, through a difficult series of events, he and his immediate family ended up in Togo.  He was an unhappy ten or eleven year old boy who received a shoebox from OCC.  The box contained, among other things, the scarf you see in the picture.  A scarf is not something you need in Togo, but God knew he could use it when he and his family eventually came to America and they landed in Buffalo, New York on a very chilly day!  I've left out a lot that Yves told us about how everything happened,, and you really need to hear the story if you have a chance.  But, I wanted to share a little bit of his story with you, so you could know the power of a simple shoebox to change a child's life.....
