A marathon of a walk

Not quite a marathon but certainly a half. 14.5 miles in the warmth reaching 25degrees, a long walk today. When we got through the gorge, an unpleasant experience, narrow, dark, wet and disorganised, we knew we had to catch the train, but where was the station? It was another 2 kilometres walk or a bus, but which bus? We walked, caught the 4.15 train having left the last hotel at 9.05. We had another 400 meters to walk after getting off the train to reach the next hotel. This was one of the two lakes we passed very early on.
