A day's hiking (Backblip 2)

On our first full day, we took the funicular train up to a place called Sunnegga (2.288 metres altitude). Lots of different mountains to be seen from up there.
We walked for about an hour to a hamlet of chalets and restaurants and had a delicious lunch at one place called "Chez Vrony". It is run by a lovely couple called Vrony and Max and of course, the view is quite spectacular. I got to know this place at my son's wedding last year when he and his wife invited close family members to an outing and lunch the day before the actual wedding.

Extras:
- sitting on a relaxing couch covered in sheep skins to have our after lunch coffee before continuing our hike down into the valley to get back to Zermatt. It took about three hours as we took it comfortably with stops for photos and to enjoy the views.
