Eye eye

My Dad has had blepharoplasty - or in other words, eyelid surgery.  As described here: the loss of elasticity in the skin as he's got older had caused the eyelid fold to hang over his eyelashes and get in the way of seeing.

What was extraordinary, and rather marvellous, is that the NHS consultant said that 'whilst they were at it' they would also removed the fatty lumps that he had in his eyebrows.

Hence him rocking the Frankestein look!  Lucky I still recognised him.
