Took Chloe up to see Andrew today. Needless to say they were delighted to be reunited!

Cleared more of the back garden in preparation for the landscape gardener coming. Two runs to the tip.

James and Annabelle FaceTimed is tonight..... always a delight.

Rant : Took Chloe’s malfunctioning lead back to Pets at Home. Explained what had happened (see yesterday’s blip) and asked if any had been returned. “Not as far as I know.” Offered a refund immediately. I asked if they had read the reviews. “No.” I asked to speak to the manager who had no knowledge of this particular problem but offered to do a complaint to the manufacturer which I agreed to.

The extremely distressing fact about this is that these leads are STILL on sale despite many reviews stating the exact problem we had and pleas for dog owners NOT to buy this lead. ( extra pic.) Apparently it is the Head Office that decides whether to withdraw the leads and sadly, I cannot see that happening any time soon.

(In our case we checked the reviews after the lead malfunctioned.)
