All systems go again today . Kev and Duncan away for a couple of loads of wheat straw then once the combine got going they were carting barley home.
I went down late afternoon and baled up the end rigs that were cut in case they get wet then headed off to bale wheat straw at one of the combine contractor’s farms. It’s a bit further away, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Home by 10 pm , so an early night for a change ! Fingers crossed it stays dry this week as my other contractor mowed 55 acres of grass for me today as well. How I will fit baling , hauling and wrapping that in I don’t know as combining and straw take priority just now !
