As we headed off to visit friends in Falkirk, we spotted this painter, working on a watercolour of the curved tenement at Nithsdale Drive.

For architect spotters, this building was probably by Alexander Thomson's erstwhile architectural partner, Turnbull - it's a bit too much of a wedding cake to be Thomson.
