A better day

Today turned out to be a beautiful day, cool with bright sunshine.  That helped to put yesterday's awfulness behind me.  But that was my wake-up call.  In future, I will not take any distress on May's part as a sign that I should get involved, since I have no impact.  She may be my sister, but I will no longer accept her as my responsibility.  Let's hope I can stick to that.

Today was a dental cleaning, a lunch out, and a brief visit to Lex.  I took photos of the new ring Doug gave her in hope of making a Mono Monday Sparkle blip, but i couldn't capture the sparkle.  So here instead is a view of the late afternoon clouds.
