Beside the Opawa River....

This morning I returned a humane cat trap hired from the SPCA. We did not have much success using the trap.... just a slow learner of a small black and white cat, caught three times, and a hedgehog. Then Maisie and I went walking beside the Opawa River. There was a cattle beast in the paddock and next thing Maisie rolled in its poop. Yuck. She needed to be hosed down back at home. Reporter Sophie and Photographer Scott have done a great job of producing an article and video in the Marlborough Express. We are very grateful and hope their efforts produce some results and our missing Maine Coon cats return home.
