Mr. Walking Stick

Dear Diary,

I usually see Walking Sticks in the fall.  They always amused me so much.  It is hard to tell which end is the head end!  This one was about 6-7 inches long.  Totally harmless, they nibble on leaves which I have an abundance of.  I am seeing more and more color in the leaves around me which will be hastened by our cool mornings. 33F this morning.  Raking will be much easier this year without the old Maple tree in front but John will have to start the cut back soon.  It feels like autumn even though it doesn't officially arrive until this weekend.
