Happy superlambanana day

The boy turns 38 so as a surprise I take him to Liverpool for the weekend. Here he is with a super lambanana outside the Museum of Liverpool. Here we learnt that the super lambanana designed by Taro Chiezo was to warn of the dangers of genetically modified food while reflecting Liverpool's history as a port city trading the likes of Fyffe bananas and Lancashire wool. The birthday boy's highlight was his deep fried jam sandwich at the swanky 60 Hope Street restaurant but it wasn't as nice a picture.
