The Clipper

No, that's not a boat in this instance, I don't think there are any clippers in the view as far as I can tell. The Clipper is the restaurant in Shaldon where we went for lunch. It's not fancy, you can't book but it has wonderful views from upstairs for breakfast on a cold morning or on a sunny late summer day like today from the outside tables.

We had an anniversary on Saturday but with everything else going on, it didn't get celebrated. Today Kate and Marty had friends visiting so we took the opportunity to go out for lunch. I forgot to pick up a camera on my way out so it's an iPhone shot today, looking out across the harbour to Back Beach. 

We had a lovely meal and then had to get back for Marian's hair appointment. I had to go into town to have a new tyre fitted before our trip away. I took a walk to Town Quay while that was being done. I had a camera then but I like the shot I took at Shaldon best today.
