Never Never Termites

After a couple of hundred km, the landscape of yesterday’s blip changed from savanna grasslands to low scrubby trees and termite mounds started appearing. Over the next hundred km we massed millions of them.
Some previous bored travellers had dressed the occasional suitably human shaped one up in old t-shirts. Even saw one in a shirt and tie wearing a hat.
Zoom in on the photo, you’ll see there are many more mounds in the background. Must be way more termites than any other living creature out here.
