September Gold

Sternbergia sicula doing it's thing in the garden.  This clump, in a  sandy raised bed, makes an appearance on blip most years I suspect!  

A bit more with-it today, I dug a row of spuds on the allotment, admin-ed, shopped, cooked and tidied before giving a talk on bulbs to an appreciative Thetford WI .... and yes, these sternbergia featured there too :-)

Edit : Turns out I blipped the same clump a year ago to the day!
