New family member

Well, I've 'ummed and ahhed' about acquiring a second camera - one which I can carry with me everyday. My phone has stood up to a few challenges admirably well over the blipping months but I felt there was a gap that could be filled. As much as I love the Nikon, its shear size makes it hard to carry with me every day.

Can I therefore introduce the delightful Sony RX1000 compact camera which very comfortably rests in the palm of my hand and weighs no more than half a kilo at the very most.

Early impressions are favourable; it does quite a lot for a small device and so far seems so good (see yesterday's blip) ..... I'm still getting to grips with it but let's watch this space!
