Welcome rain!

What a sight for sore eyes. This is the same eucalyptus sapling that I blipped a couple of days ago but this time it literally dripping rain drops. We had recorded 55mm of rain in the Gauge in a 24 hour period up to 9.00am this morning and it has continued all day. It is such a blessing for so many rural people but sadly it has not reached that much further west where it is desperately needed. It’s difficult to comprehend that there are country town in Australia that are on the verge of running out of water and it is having to be shipped in. This is a drought of horrendous proportions. We are praying that this weather will continue for many days to come.
