My First!

My first sourdough loaf! can't believe how well it turned out! Can't wait to make my next one from scratch! I spent a lot of the day sourcing some of the bits I will nedd to do that! In the process I found there are many ways to make a loaf using many different starters - white flour, rye, even rice flour! I also have to name my starter, apparently it helps one to take care of it, feeding it regularly! 
For today I fed The Exile! After baking my loaf I took Oscar for a nice long walk then came home and started the vegetarian roast dinner! We had a slice of Sourdough with homemade raspberry jam for dessert! Just call me a Kitchen Goddess!!
