The repair work begins

Today the storm had gone and the hotel staff set about restoring the beach and pool areas.  We learned that the dreadful high winds and lashing waves had continued for four days before our arrival, so we count ourselves lucky to have started our holiday when we did.  By evening harmony was restored  and everyone could settle down again to the serious  business of sunbathing and swimming.
