What have you got there?

Had a  short walk along the beach and there were lots of birds, including the newly arrived geese, but they were all a long way away and this was about the best I managed. I watched the heron for quite a while keeping it's eye on the water ready to pounce. It did catch something as I watched it gulp it down. The little bird looked on rather enviously I thought!
