Flamingo Frolics

A good day to make use of our annual zoo passes .... not to hot, not too cold, no wind and no rain ..... ideal conditions for animals, birds and humans alike.

When we arrived at the flamingo pond it was siesta time but gradually one or two started to stretch their wings and suddenly there was a bit of a fracas ..... reminded me a bit of Swan Lake but the dancers were in pink not white!
