Sea View

One of the cool things about being at university here is that when I walk out of the Languages department, I look right and see the enormous mountains and rainforest of the island, and when I look right, I see the sea! It's definitely a lot nicer seeing the sea every day than seeing the notoriously ugly buildings which make up the campus back in Reading. 

In other news, my translation teacher, who emigrated to Réunion from Edinburgh via French Guyana, decided that she'd pick on me to answer the questions in our class today. I thought I deserved a treat after that so I bought myself a kebab for dinner :-)
