Training Squad

I have spent the whole day in a classroom today, quite simply what could have been done in 2 hours was done in 8 all because it was run through a Polytech. We went through training or should I say retraining on Cable Location something we do every day and very well, but because you come out with a Certificate and there is a written test it takes time and a lot of money, training organisations have found great ways to make lots of money from Trades Related training. I received an appointment to see the Spine Specialist which is good news. This is some of my training group tonight, Steve on the right is the oldest tonight 59, until earlier this year he held a 400m title from his School days and tonight he cruised through 5 x 800m @ 2.53 pace, Yvonne in the middle is organising an inaugural 1/2 Marathon in Fairlie which will have some big undulations and a big bit of off road. Richard on the left has come a long way, he sought help to get him through the Police Recruitment Fitness Test which he passed, Richard struggled to meet the 2km challenge, with help from One of our Members and Group Michael he rose to the challenge and is now running well and improving every week.
