The far side....

...of the pumpkin heap. I'd realised there was one in there, but its companion was new to me. The one in the foreground is approx football sized. Not sure of the variety as I can't find the seed packet - probably used them all and chucked it out. Most similar looking in the seed catalogue is Jack o' Lantern, which encouragingly says 'Stores through the winter.'

Had a call from an OU colleague while I was pottering about at the allotment - another day's work booked. All grist to the mill.
