This is Dora Marr’s house in Ménerbes. We happened to meet someone who is living there at the moment and were shown round. Picasso bought this house with a single painting from an old retired general. He gave the house to his mistress Dora Marr and then, after finding a new mistress, left Dora and the house. She lived there for the rest of her life....painting and whizzing around on a moped. Lovely house. Some nice artwork inside.
