Signs of Autumn

I noticed the copper beech tree is now changing colour.
The leaves change from deep copper to a greenish colour before turning to their autumn colours.
A little treatment and I thought this suitable for Abstract Thursday.

A busy day, but had an unexpected visit from our eldest grandson with the good news that he had been offered a job.
Only a few miles from home too.
Couldn’t have been better. So pleased for him.

Then called to see our youngest granddaughter to wish her all the best.
She starts Uni on Saturday. Living away from home for the first time.
Had a catchup with our other grandson who started his first job nearly two weeks ago.
He seems to have settled in well and made some new friends and enjoying work.
Also saw our other granddaughter who is now in her second year at Huddersfield Uni. taking paediatric nursing. Her studies are very varied and mainly practical. She’s certainly seeing life.
We are so proud of them all.
