Fruit of the season

Woke up this morning with no water in the taps or loo except in the kitchen.  The overflow was leaking yesterday and T went up into the attic to have a look at the tanks and decided to turn off the water!  He has now  bent the ballcock and we are now seeing if that works. If not he will have to borrow tools larger than the ones we have to repair it.

The new bank manager came out to meet us.  She is easy to talk to and more importantly on our side so we are lucky so far ....

Went to town this afternoon to deliver tax papers to the accountant.  Then took the dog out and picked these blackberries.

Met some friends in the pub for a meal this evening as it was J's birthday.
