The biggest burl

We walked to the Oconee Station waterfall this morning. We had to walk across some rocks in the creek which kind of worried me because of the ankle but I had no problem! The hike was about 3/4 mile and not really strenuous. The waterfall was very pretty and the surrounding area too.

The oak tree burl was almost sitting on the trail. It is the biggest burl I have ever come across in my hiking.

Wonders in the forest never cease to amaze me!
