Not that I'm in any way suggesting that the increased stress levels around here caused by the imminent departure of our daughter for University and the concommitant packing, last-minute-changes-of-accomodation, goodbyes, late-setting-up of bank accounts, etc., etc. are anywhere akin to the Manson Family's effect on late 60's U.S. culture but it's quite enough for us, thank you very much...

Typically, even though it's a very confusing read (a huge cast of characters and a plethora of conspiracy theories), I now need to finish this book because someone else has requested it. I blame that Quentin Tarantino. Unfortunately I'm enough of the way through it to feel committed now. At least I already know whodunnit...
