Straight and Narrow

Firstly this is a momentous occasion as it must be the first time I have managed to have two up to date photos on consecutive days for what seems like ever.

At this time of year the onset of Autumn is not only marked by the slow changes in the foliage and light (I think it is going to be an early Autumn this year) but by the noticeable decrease in boat traffic along the canal. It does have the benefit of some nice long vistas though.
