A Bit Splashy!

There's been a strong breeze blowing all day and as I went out to fill the van up I noticed the tide was fairly high. I decided to go along to East Cliff at Dawlish and I took the steps down at Coastguards. 

It was just a bit after high tide but the wind was blowing the waves onshore and they were crashing over the sea wall. Not all the time but they were coming over haphazardly and I figured I was probably going to get a dousing if I hung about. If you want the wave crashes you have to do it, although I wasn't taking any risks and stayed back.

Did I get a soaking? Of course I did but not too badly. Despite the wind it's still quite warm and I soon dried off. I've put up a couple of extras as well because it was hard to choose.
