Field Maple leaf and nettles.
Thankyou to all those who commented yesterday. It’s been a fairly busy week in one way or another and I’ve been very tired at times.
Today however we met up with a lovely friend for a coffee before a long walk back home by way of the Park. We are fortunate to have it on our doorstep. 2,400 acres of National Nature Reserve. Designated in 1997. One of the largest urban parks in Europe.
It was such an absolutely glorious Indian Summer type of day. Clear blue skies, warm sunshine, sharp light, autumn colours and breeze stirring leaves. I loved every minute.
Our washing machine packed in, so sodden towels had to be rescued and a search on-line for a new one.
At least they take the old one away for recycling and install the new one.
Hubby enjoyed sorting it out with the guy at the other end of the phone line, as he was particularly helpful.
It’s coming tomorrow!!
And on Sunday the weather is set to go downhill. I may have time to wash the towels that were rescued today!
Hedgehog ate all his mealworms last night and I’m going back up the garden to replenish his supplies. Although I know there are two of them out there at times.
I took the photo as the red of the maple leaf caught in the nettles was striking.
Sorry for lack of comments.
I’ll have a bit more space tomorrow!
