A Far Cry from Portland

Typically you don’t see palm trees in Portland. Once in a while someone will have a short variety that seems to do ok in our temperate climate. Here in Palm Springs, where we are for the weekend, we’re 1072 miles south of Portland and palm trees thrive! Today is was a very dry 88 degrees F with skies as brilliant a blue as you’ll ever see. We’re basking in the warm sun for a couple of days so you’ll see a couple more sunny blips. Hoping for a gorgeous October in Portland!
