Good Waterfall Hunting

What an adventurous day. The mantra of the day was to avoid a day of normalcy. Well, we accomplished that. We hiked a fairly short (3 miles, maybe?) trail in the Columbia River Gorge, but the challenge came with the trail being completely iced over. We slipped and slid our way in the four-hour hike, and got a few good shots, but I'll admit I focused more on keeping my footing than the camera settings. This shot is from the cave behind Ponytail Falls. My hiking partners are the best. What a beautiful weekend. Thanks, Tom and Kirb. Love you both.
