Indian Summer

What a cracking late summer's day. Wandered around for a while doing errands, got the fastest haircut ever known to my bonce (and it shows!), then strolled up to the allotment and pottered about for a while. Lots of plants are still in bloom though of these only the white rose was in our plot.
Best photo of the day was the one I didn't take: of the woman in a bus queue wearing a tea-cosy for a hat. I know it's the age of recycling and she'd done a decent job making it fit but come on - it was really warm and that cosy was fully padded! Anyway, no photo, just in case she was fully armed with used tea bags.
One in Galloway, one heading to Italy, one with a dodgy tummy all meant it was just me and George in the pub tonight and we hunkered down in The Cumberland for a change. Stewart's 80/- was my tipple and I'm happy to report that it was excellent.
