Grazing

It has been very gusty today, which makes it very hard to get a good photo with the macro lens. I had some beautiful looking caterpillars lined up on some weeds, but because the plant kept moving (in the wind), I couldn't do my little caterpillar any justice. Perhaps I'll give it another go some other time.

So, instead I took a photo of the moo's grazing in their paddock. The wind was blowing the grass, but I was unable to pick this up in the photo. The paddocks in the distance are up the Matiri Valley.

It has been so nice to have a cooler day today. The temperature didn't get much over 24 C .......... it would have been a really pleasant day if it hadn't been for the terrible wind.
