WORLD CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Following on from yesterday and my frustration with Harrogate's traffic and the world cycling we thought we would head off to York for the afternoon, well you know what thought did!
Taking the outer ring road we got as far as the roundabout that takes you to Harrogate or Wetherby, there, without warning the roads were block off, we had no choice but to follow the signs for spectator parking (a couple of miles out from the action, who planned this!), gave up looking for a sign for York in the end and went to Rudding Park for tea & scones.
