Today I went tree-planting at Gameshope on a working-party organised by Extinction Rebellion (Glasgow). For the Borders Forest Trust [who supervised it] it was a great way to get lots of enthusiastic young people to help with the work of rewilding the Gameshope valley. I went with Django, who had a fantastic day, running around the hillside to be petted by one person after another. I even "lost" him for an hour when a couple he'd attached himself to went up the valley (to swim!) and he followed them! I was going to camp, but I'm back home because we planted most of the trees today, there are more folk available tomorrow to plant the rest - when the weather may be poor - and I didn't fancy camping with Django.
