Pen-y-Ghent

An unexpected day.  Santana was scheduled to have an endoscopy at Blackburn hospital this morning.  We set off down the M6, only to receive a phone call telling us the the machine was broken and that the appointment was therefore cancelled.  Curses.  

Offered, a free day, we turned off the M6 and went to Clitheroe where he had a hearty breakfast.  We pottered about the town and then returned home via a lovely nursery near Sawley, Long Preston, and Kirkby Lonsdale.
