A Teachable Moment
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,
We have just finished watching "Gogglebox Australia" which was very educational this week.
For a start, pregnant Sarah got a sore boob during the episode and her husband Matty had to cup it to help relieve the symptoms. I did not know this was a thing. I'd always thought that pregnancy was all about swollen ankles and an inability to get out of comfy chairs.
However, the best bit about this moment, was that Sarah's brother Jad was hugely embarrassed by the whole thing and tried to pretend he was not in the room. I think it was very insensitive of Sarah.
The three were watching a show about sex education through the decades. This prompted comments from a different family where the dad works as a paramedic. "Ah, the agony of NRB's," he murmured.
I had no idea what he was talking about, but he clarified: "No Reason Boners", he explained. Other Australian blokes added their wisdom to his. "Tuck it into yer waistband mate, and get on with your life," said one. "Don't turn around too quickly, you could knock ornaments over," said another.
So you see, reality telly can be VERY enlightening. This was practically a documentary.
In other news, Punky still loves his blue bag.
