Waiting for the tide.

A funny sort of a day, mostly spent with MiL, following a bit of an issue with CO monitors and a very old cooker! Lessons in toaster use and microwaves I fear have not gone well. 
So it was with joy that I escaped for 30 minutes onto the beach as the sun was going down. It was still warm and peaceful with only the sound of the geese coming back to roost for the evening. If only moments like this could be put in a bottle for us to uncap when required! 
We than had a lovely evening bike ride and visit to the pub with a couple of friends.
