Baths Of Aphrodite

I finally reached my 5 mile target this morning, though I did have to stop and walk for a bit due to the 8.00am heat(!). On the positive side I found some decent photo opportunities, for a later date of course.

Once the rest of the clan were up the three of us found a beach, after a bit of driving along the coast from Polis, past Latsi (a popular) beach and eventually the Baths of Aphrodite. This is basically a beach-side restaurant with it's own sun loungers and parasols. High cute factor, but fairly private at the same time. We read, snorkelled, read, swam, read, ate, drank (Keo/iced latte/Coke) and read some more. The snorkelling was ace, clear waters, colourful fish and strange seaweed, but sadly could not find any thing to take home with us, except for a brightly coloured fishing hook. Yuck. The heat was a bit much at times and the pebbles like hot coals, but had enough shade and plenty of sea to dip into. Stayed as long as we could.
